Welcome to The Trails

The Trails is an established 573-acre mixed-use village in Summerlin North. Development began in 1993, and its residential neighborhoods, parks, pedestrian routes and everyday services helped shape the early Summerlin community.

Buyers can compare detached homes, attached housing and gated settings rather than a single uniform home style. Mature landscaping and a village location are part of the appeal, while the condition, layout and improvements of each resale remain important purchase considerations.

Trails Village Center provides shopping and dining in the surrounding area. The Trails Park, The Trails Paseo Park and the community center bring recreation into the neighborhood setting. Compare the actual route from a home to the places you plan to use.

Parks, Pool & Village Recreation

The Trails Park

The village park provides sports, play and picnic opportunities alongside the community center and pool complex. Review current facility availability and reservation requirements when planning activities.

The Trails Paseo Park

This landscaped linear park connects walking routes with play and resting areas. Explore the connection from the home rather than assuming every address has the same trail access.

Community Center

At 1910 Spring Gate Lane, The Trails Community Center supports resident programs, classes and gatherings. Check Summerlink for current schedules and registration information.

The seasonal Trails pool is operated under Summerlin Council resident rules. Eligible residents must follow current identification, admission, guest and operating requirements. Access is not exclusive to homeowners in The Trails, and a home purchase should not be treated as an unrestricted pool pass.

Check Summerlink for current park, pool and resident information.

Shopping, Culture & Getting Around

Trails Village Center brings neighborhood retail, dining and services to this part of Summerlin North. The wider area also includes cultural destinations such as the Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center. Check their location and program schedules independently when comparing homes.

Summerlin Parkway and the surrounding arterial streets provide routes to other parts of Las Vegas. Test your daily commute and shopping routes at your usual travel times, including the return trip. A neighborhood’s general location does not guarantee a particular drive time.

Schools & Buying an Established Home

Summerlin North includes schools such as William R. Lummis Elementary, Ernest A. Becker Sr. Middle School and Palo Verde High School, but school assignments are address-specific. Do not assume every neighborhood on this page shares the same zoning. Confirm current assignments directly with CCSD before purchasing.

Nearby private and charter options have separate admissions requirements. Compare the school route, enrollment process and availability directly with the institution.

For a resale home, review maintenance records, roof and HVAC condition, permits and renovations. Request current association disclosures and assessments, including any neighborhood charges in addition to the master association. Compare recent sales with similar layouts and condition.
